MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION 1. The role of IT Architect – Business and Data is responsible for the strategic business transformation within Landbank and overseeing critical deliverables; such as business capability models, business capabilities, and value streams. 2. This role is further responsible for leading the architecture of new organizations or re-architecting aspects of existing business operations and capabilites. 3. The IT Architect - Business and Data is also responsible for setting the data architecture principles, create enterprise models of data that enable the implementation of the intended business architecture, create architecture strategic models showing key data entities, and create an inventory of the data needed to implement the architecture vision.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Business Architecture Strategy Development: 1. Collaborate with the Head of Enterprise Architecture (EA) to establish governance, focusing on business architecture. 2. Develop and monitor the Business Architecture Vision, Capability Model, Business Process Modelling, and Value Streams for Landbank. 3. Ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Business Architecture Blueprint & Roadmap: 1. Collaborate with stakeholders and architects (applications, technology, security) to select reference models and create baseline and target business architecture descriptions. 2. Perform gap analysis and develop a roadmap aligned with Landbank’s strategic objectives.
Business Architecture Governance: 1. Manage activities to develop, maintain, and govern business architecture. 2. Ensure architecture goals are met and assess best practices to improve business frameworks and data quality management.
Data Architecture Strategy Development: 1. Develop and implement the Data Architecture Vision and Principles. 2. Collaborate with other IT divisions to create data management practices and ensure data architecture goals are achieved.
Data Architecture Blueprint & Roadmap: 1. Consult with stakeholders to develop an Enterprise Data Model, data flows, integration patterns, and master data management architecture. 2. Conduct gap analysis and participate in creating a Data Warehouse, Data Mart, or Data Lake roadmap.
Opportunities and Implementation Planning: 1. Identify business and data change opportunities and constraints. 2. Perform gap analysis, refine architecture dependencies, and create implementation and migration plans for business and data transformation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Management: 1. Develop a stakeholder engagement strategy, map stakeholders by influence, and manage expectations. 2. Maximize opportunities, mitigate risks, and improve stakeholder relationships to support architecture goals.
