QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 1. Knowledge on private equity and development loans 2. Articles experience with an audit firm 3. CA(SA) 4. A CFA qualification would be a distinct advantage 5. A strong career track record in back office in a large, complex organisation with multi-dimensional businesses within the banking sector for a minimum period of 4 to 5 years, preferably in an investment banking environment. 6. Strong, current understanding of and a strong commitment to good corporate governance and specifically international reporting standards including IFRS 9, IFRS, Basel, GAAP and other regulatory requirements including the PFMA. 7. Strong IFRS 9 knowledge and experience 8. Strong understanding of the integration of back, middle and front office. 9. Articles experience with a big 4 bank an added advantage 10. At least 2 years experience relevant treasury accounting, assets and liability portfolio management and experience 11. Exposure to African global markets would be an added advantage 12. Equity valuations experience would be an advantage
