JOB DESCRIPTION Our client is a foremost supplier of high quality medical diagnostic products and services in West Africa.
JOB SUMMARY This position has the overall responsibility of leading sales/strategy development and implementation to achieve sales targets and drive team’s effectiveness
RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Providing operational support to the sales team, also responsible for inbound and/or outbound lead generation for new product sales 2. Sales forecasting, analytics, productivity, and other sales support functions 3. Strategic interface with Marketing team for effective execution of sales-oriented initiatives to deepen brand penetration Responsibilities 4. Lead sales/strategy development and implementation to achieve sales targets and drive team’s effectiveness 5. Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals 6. Increase Coverage, Distribution and market penetration of the company’s products 7. Manage significant sales pipeline to guarantee success and regional growth 8. Negotiate and close deals with key customers over and above the Sales Rep’s capacity 9. Conduct market intelligence and provide feedback on competitor's activity and offerings 10. Lead by example by working according to company culture and values, use effective communication to deliver desired results ▪ Ensure effective credit control and that management expectations are met or exceeded 11. Coach, train and guide direct reports to drive organization plans for achieving sales goals 12. Reviewing regional expenses and recommending improvements 13. Induction, onboarding, and training of new sales hires 14. Set goals and monitor performance of sales representatives

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE 1. Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field 2. Proven 4-6 years’ work experience as a sales manager (having first-hand experience of growing through the organization in Field Sales related roles. 3. Experience in B2B market segment 4.
