JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a top cosmetic products manufacturer. They currently have an opening for a Graphic Designer in Lagos.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials and understanding the goals and audience for each project/task.
2. Work alongside content creator to initiate concepts that are relevant for social media and understanding tools and materials needed to accomplish task.
3. Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
4. Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software. Develop mock-up designs where necessary.
5. Prepare rough drafts and present ideas.
6. Coordinating with other team members of the department and marketing team. Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design.
7. Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
8. Communicating with manager about layouts and designs.
9. Create a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.
10. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
11. Send weekly and monthly project reports based on completed works and pending jobs.
12. Understand how to use create motion graphics (basic idea) and how to compute video editing using Adobe after effect.
13. Must be able to take a product photoshoot and edit. Also create a mock-up from pictures taken.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

1. Degree in Graphic Art / Media Design or related subjects
2. 2+ years of professional experience as a Digital Graphic Designer across multiple platforms with an online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables
3. Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite programs
4. Experience with development for mobile platform is considered a plus
5. Good knowledge of Video/Audio editing is considered a plus
6. Perfect command of the English language
7. Attention to detail and accuracy and ability to meet deadline
8. Agile mindset and able to work under pressure
