OVERVIEW:
A corporate technology solutions provider in the document copy/print/scan equipment, maintenance servicing, print management solutions industry is seeking a field sales executive.

This position works closely with the Technical Manager to majorly expand business and establish new customers while interacting with existing customers to increase sales of the organization’s products and services. Major operational base is Lagos, with a branch in Abuja and Port Harcourt, and territories spanning the entire country.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Field Service Engineer provides customer support, repair, testing of all equipment and performs field service calls and installations as stated below:

Installation & Service support:
1. Responsible for the installation of equipment, applications and getting the final acceptance from the customer.
2. Responsible for keeping equipment fully operational.
3. Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues.
4. Monitor and maintain computer networks.
5. Prioritizing and managing workflow.
6. Respond to customer’s calls, emails and act accordingly regarding issues.
7. Maintain good and smooth communication with customers through different channels like phone, email and web.
8. Maintaining procedural documents and reports
9. Trains customers on use of equipment and applications.
10. Ability to learn and work on changing technologies.
11. Establish and maintain good working relationship with customers and other professionals.
12. Installs upgrades.
13. Handles in-house customer repairs.
14. Promote service replacement parts, service contracts.

Quotations:
1. Prepare quotations for service issue when system out of warranty
2. Prepare quotations for parts and service contract

Communication:
1. Make sure that the communication is clear and trustfully.
2. Generate a report after every visit to customer to be submitted to your supervisor immediately after each visit…
3. Report to the management any unresolved problems

Training:
1. Responsible for a proper training of the customer
2. Responsible for being properly trained

Receivables & Finances:
1. Responsible for getting the acceptation documents for final payment
2. Provide help to the sales coordinator to collect any remaining fund.
3. Responsible for cost reduction by optimizing travel itinerary, and time reduction for installation and repair.

Other issues for Operation
1. Participation on request to technical seminars or shows
2. Provide all the necessary information to the sales coordinator to updated customer data base
3. Provide all the necessary information to the sales coordinator to updated user list.
4. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
2-3 year(s)

Min Qualification:
HND/BSC COMPUTER SCIENCE, ELECT ELECT

9. Clear and effective oral and written communication skills in English language.

11. Team player that goes beyond job requirement in solving problems and challenges
