ABOUT

PURPOSE OF ROLE
1. The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is looking for a specialist who will be responsible for managing the design, implementation and maintenance of Office of the Treasurer (TRE)’s applications in AIIB's core investment business areas.
2. The specialist will serve as a member of the Information Technology Division (ITD).
3. This role is onsite in Beijing, China.
4. The selected analyst or associate will work in a start-up, fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
5. They will have the opportunity to drive IT process design and will be exposed to cutting-edge cloud technology and a multilateral development bank’s business environment where they can hone skills in project management, communication, stakeholder management, planning, and risk management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Support digital program specialists in building systems supporting treasury business areas, such as asset liability management solutions, front-to-end treasury management systems, SWIFT systems etc.
2. Participate in demand planning, impact assessment, feasibility studies, and cost estimation of the project. Support solution design and full project cycle delivery.
3. Provide operation support for IT systems used by AIIB Treasury Department, including but not limited to implementing new initiatives and process changes, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.
4. Work with various teams - such as infrastructure, data management, IT security, and risk management - to assist a smooth rollout of products and services to users and maintain a highly secure system through proper configuration and system access monitoring.
5. Ensure that processes comply with IT governance processes and procedures and AIIB’s audit and control requirements.
6. Manage vendors, which includes procurement, contracting, performance management, etc.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
1. A minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in managing digital application implementation projects for Treasury business in the financial industry:
1) Experience with Treasury applications in the financial industry, such as Bloomberg, SWIFT etc .
2) Domain knowledge of the financial market, from the front office to back office.
3) Global financial firm exposure is preferred.
2. Results-oriented with an ability to multitask and prioritize duties.
3. Effective communication and engagement skills with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
4. Fluency in oral and written English is a must.
5. Master’s degree equivalent or higher in related fields from a reputable university.
6. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant IT experience or equivalent for IT Analyst, minimum 3-5 years of relevant IT experience or equivalent for IT Associate.
