JOB DESCRIPTION
Work in collaboration with the Head of of Partnerships in the development and implementation of the AWHF’s fundraising strategy. The main responsibility being fundraising, event’s co-ordination and managing of donor relations in alignment with the Funds strategic plan.

Budget monitoring & reporting In collaboration with the Head Partnership Development:
1. Develop, identify and manage the fundraising and stakeholder management plan to support the AWHF.
2. Develops and maintains strong relationships with strategic partners and consultants to develop and grow revenue.
3. Work in collaboration with the Partnership Officer (Communication) to promote the Fund and its initiatives.
4. Develops customized partnership solutions to drive fundraising.
5. Provide monthly and quarterly reports to the Head of Section and Director on fundraising opportunities identified through various engagements.
6. Collaborate with Head of section to create detailed concepts/proposals for fundraising events and associated logistics, (g. timelines, venues, catering, suppliers, legal obligations, staff and budgets, health and safety requirements).
7. Coordinate suppliers, handling business/client queries and troubleshooting on the day/s of the event to ensure the event runs smoothly

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Relevant qualifications preferably a degree in Business Management, Diplomacy, Public Relations, or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ proven experience.
2. Able to communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of French will be an added advantage.
