JOB SUMMARY:
Our client who is the world’s leading source of business information and insights, enabling companies to Decide with Confidence, is currently hiring an Executive – Financial Accounting, in Ghana.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Book-keeping and closing of accounting books on a monthly and annual basis with accuracy and adherence to local standards/IFRS.
2. Preparing monthly financial statements.
3. Handling annual audit
4. Handling all statutory matters/returns (i.e., VAT, WHT, PAYE, NHIL & GETFUND, Covid Levy etc.) and ensure timely filing to GRA.
5. Assisting the team in preparing monthly MIS for senior management with detailed analysis of the performance.
6. Assisting the team in preparing project profitability reports and helping them make business decisions.
7. Preparation of salary transfers and posting it in the system
8. Managing relationship with vendors and suppliers to ensure maximum utilization of credit periods and effective management of working capital
9. Assisting the team in preparation of various reports for the Management.
10. Dealing with banks for corporate and retail banking requirements
11. Maintaining Fixed Asset Register
12. Documentation and record-keeping; maintaining legal agreements, regulatory documents etc.

| REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. Good inter-personal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
2. Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP Software (Navision or Oracle)
3. Ability to work independently.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
1. Degree qualification in Accounting or relevant fields, with ICAG/ACCA in view
2. 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in Finance.
