JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a remote position.
Our client is a US based Tech Firm. They are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who is comfortable with both front and back end programming.
OVERVIEW
1. You will be responsible for developing and designing front end web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and working alongside graphic designers for web design features, among other duties.
2. They are looking for an individual that is passionate, driven, highly technical and an absolute keyboard wizard.
3. The ideal candidate is someone with at least 7+ years of experience in fullstack development, leading several teams and managing a product, and someone who has experience working intricate systems at scale such as marketplaces, trading platforms, or e-commerce.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Developing front end website architecture.
2. Designing user interactions on web pages.
3. Developing back-end website applications.
4. Creating servers and databases for functionality.
5. Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
6. Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
7. Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
8. Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
9. Designing and developing APIs.
10. Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
11. Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

| REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
1. You have 7+ years of professional experience as a fullstack developer or a similar role
2. You write high quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers.
3. You have experience working 100% remotely
4. Must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
6. Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
7. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills and strong organizational leadership skills.
8. Good time-management skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Experience in eCommerce is a big advantage.
