JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a luxurious 5-star Restaurant located in Abuja, with years’ of experience in the hospitality industry in Nigeria. They currently have an opening for an Inventory Officer (x1) to be based in Abuja.

RESPONSIBHILIITES
1. Identifies and communicates items with low inventory and other department needs to department Supervisor and/or Manager.
2. Ensures that all items are available and in a ready to use form.
3. Audits incoming shipments and packing slips for quality and accuracy; Identifies and refers inaccurate or unacceptable shipments to management and informs team of any order discrepancies or issues.
4. Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures
5. Record daily deliveries to reconcile inventory
6. Knows and follows all Restaurant, Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Programs and policies
7. Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

1. 3-4 years Proven experience as inventory manager or similar position
2. Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
3. An analytical mind with strong math skills
4. Excellent organizational and planning skills
5. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
6. Reliable and trustworthy
7. Ability to accomplish common tasks with little direct supervision.
8. Ability to determine department needs based on inventory levels and business volume.
