JOB DESCRIPTION
1. To administer priority building projects. Administer Priority lists (projects): Design and distribute Building priority questionnaires to schools timeously and consolidate response priorities.
2. Administer Tenders: process tenders for projects; property acquisition and project execution for team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Administer Priority lists (projects): Design and distribute Building priority questionnaires to schools timeously and consolidate response priorities
2. Administer Tenders: process tenders for projects; property acquisition and project execution for team
3. Compile Schools needs register compilation: Processing of requests for physical resources construction and/or renovation
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
EXPERTISE & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Requirements:
1. Appropriate Tertiary Qualification in Building Management or equivalent
2. 2 - 5 years’ postgraduate experience in a physical resource and facilities planning environment
3. • Computer literacy (including advanced MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams)
4. Valid driver’s license. Experience required
5. Good project management skills
6. Experience maintaining information contained in a School Database of Needs
7. Proven skills of preparing reports and presentations.

Technical Knowledge and skills required
1. The physical requirements for the delivery of education
2. Building plan interpretation and the ability to conceptualise plans
3. Building standards and school design norms of land acquisition legislation and procedures
4. The physical infrastructure needs prioritization process
5. Tender procedures and Supply Chain Management legislation
