ASSIGNMENT
Sales Manager – Rental Business will have for work:
1. This position shall be responsible for the development and growth of the Automotive Rental Business in the country.
2. Grow the rental business and ensure FY ABT is achieved as per target
3. Prepare timely and quality reports for the functional reporting lines
4. Rental Business – Full facilitation, market activation, running campaigns and schemes, closing business, managing buy backs and meeting monthly targets
5. Follow-up with Sales Team on lead generation, prospection and timely delivery for rental business in consultation with Line Manager
6. Follow up debtors on a regular basis to maximize payment collection for rented vehicles
7. Design, implement and control key operational procedures and processes related to rental business
8. Design, implement and control the vehicle handover process to customer with proper documentation
9. Relevant knowledge and competencies to appreciate the technical difference of financial terms like leasing (operational/finance/dry/wet), rental services, hire purchase (lien/hypothecation).
10. Relevant experience in used cars/commercial vehicle markets to help in appropriate documentation and accounting treatment
11. To be able to differentiate between buy back, trade-in, etc. and the relevant paperwork
12. Ensure compliance with ISO9001 compliance
13. Any other duties assigned from time to time by the management

RESPONSIBILITIES :

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATION
1. Excellent experience in automobile especially in commercial rental vehicles segment
2. Extensive knowledge of motor mechanics
3. Team player; result oriented with high integrity and professional
4. An in-depth knowledge of Vehicle Models
5. Strategic appreciation of the distribution business
6. Excellent communications, analytical organizational skills
7. Strong financial acumen with good experience in deciding margins – discounts etc.
8. Excellent knowledge/understanding of Vertical and Dual Reporting
9. Mechanical auto technical skills
10. Strategic appreciation of the distribution business
11. Business Acumen and drive for results
12. Willing, creative, a Go Getter and innovative
13. Valid Driving Permit
14. 5 to 8 years’ experience preferably from Auto industry Insurance or Banking industry
15. Solid experience in Financial Management, Key Account Management and Financial Restructuring

PROFILE QUALIFICATION:
Degree or Post Graduate Qualification in Business field, Mechanical Engineering, Sales and Marketing, ICT literate, Supply Chain Management or related field
