OUR CLIENT:
Our client, an energy company based in Lagos Nigeria that is positioned to be a prime owner and developer of Nigeria's domestic energy infrastructure seek to fill the position of a Business Development Analyst.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Conduct research on market insights, business opportunities, industry trends, competing organizations, customer demographics, new technologies and more.
2. Interpret Data by determining whether their findings could apply to the company, identifying the specific areas of the company that would be affected and predicting both the positive and negative results of any possible changes
3. Make summaries of research conducted to aid decision making with recommendations to senior staff.
4. Develop marketing pitches, new business proposals and other forms of communications to external parties.
5. Delivers basic internal presentations on the energy business and other relevant matters.
6. Uses relevant data on gas and electricity demand, power cost, rates etc. to develop and update basic/fundamental assumptions for financial models.
7. Maintains/documents revisions to financial models and other business documents.
8. Analyze current and past financial data, such as earnings reports, and provide strategies.
9. Provides adequate and effective project administration - develop action plans and work schedules as appropriate to meet job objectives.
10. Supports the execution of strategy and process analysis frameworks with assistance.
11. Performs other assigned duties as delegated by the BDS from time to time.
