OUR CLIENT:
Our client, an energy company based in Lagos Nigeria that is positioned to be a prime owner and developer of Nigeria's domestic energy infrastructure seek to fill the position of a Business Development Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
1. Creates commercially viable power solutions and matures them into profitable businesses
2. Lead commercial decision-making across business development activities relating to commercial inputs into, and negotiations of commercial agreements, pricing, operationalization of contracts, etc.
3. Serves as the in-house Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Power Solutions and engages Power OEMs and other stakeholders to drive achievement of corporate objectives.
4. Ensure that agreements/contracts are adequately reflecting the company’s interests and as such will have input in these documents.
5. Serve as a thought partner, leveraging internal and external networks, to engage in team Problem solving, share evolving business trends and best practices, and Contribute to knowledge creation initiatives.
6. Maintain and develop clients relationships with industry and government stakeholders.
7. Interpret Data by determining whether their findings could apply to the company, identifying the specific areas of the company that would be affected and predicting both the positive and negative results of any possible changes
8. Make summaries of research conducted to aid decision making with recommendations to executive-level staff
9. Develop marketing pitches, new business proposals and other forms of communications to external parties.
10. Delivers internal presentations on the gas and power business and other relevant matters.
11. Develop/build financial models for determining/capturing the required capital structures for potential Transactions based on the underlying business assumptions identified.
12. Conducts technical and analytical research/studies of energy usage trends in the Nigerian market and other relevant economies.
13. Analyze current and past financial data, such as earnings reports, and provide strategies.
14. Provides adequate and effective project administration - develop action plans and work schedules as appropriate to meet job objectives;
15. Work with project and infrastructure teams to facilitate the design, implementation, deployment, upgrade and problem resolution of technical and commercial processes.
16. Work with vendors on assessing and selecting appropriate business solutions.
17. Supports the execution of strategy and process analysis frameworks with assistance.
18. Performs other assigned duties as delegated by the BDM from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
