PURPOSE OF THE JOB
1. Reporting to the Director General, Human Resources, this position will be responsible to execute the HR vision and strategy of the Bank and assist in managing performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development and other HR operations to facilitate realization of Bank’s growth aspirations in partnership with all internal stakeholders and in-line with goals and strategies of the Bank.
2. The incumbent will also work in all the other areas of the Human Resources, as and when required.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
1. Develop, implement, communicate and handle the human resources policies of the Bank.
2. Ensure that all appropriate human resources policies, framework, procedures etc. are continuously improved as per international best practices.
3. Implement various HR initiatives within the Bank with an objective to improve employee engagement and establish the Bank as an Employer of Choice.
4. Handle the relevant human resources processes in the Bank with an objective to build an organization climate of meritocracy, collaboration, result-driven orientation, organizational efficiency, trust, diversity, shared values and mutual respect.
5. Uphold and promote the cultural anchors of the Bank. Propose and manage various interventions in building this climate and culture.
6. Analyse and recommend continuous improvements to the compensation and benefits framework and practices, including development of policies and procedures to support these changes. Recommend salary structure movements and salary increase budgets.
7. Perform annual compensation and benefits benchmarking exercise and compensation surveys, in partnership with external consultants and after adequate research, to ensure that the Bank remains competitive in the market and incorporate suggestions from the Management and Board.
8. Experience in setting up talent management frameworks, policies and procedures
9. Thorough understanding of Learning and Development requirements, including leadership Capabilities frameworks
10. Successful track record of Organizational design and development (including employer branding, employee Engagement, organisational structure design, change management, and others)
11. For all matters related to human resources, assist in making proposals to the Management and the Board.
12. Keep abreast of the market developments, trends, opportunities and challenges in field of human resources and provide inputs to the Director General, Human Resources on various interventions.
13. Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, guidelines, systems and processes effectively.
14. Build and foster relationships with various human resources experts, external consultants etc. to identify best practices, best technologies and modern/innovative human resource practices.
15. Collaborate and work with team members on various projects and assignments.
16. Other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
1. Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in a multilateral development bank or equivalent or regulated private sector financial institution or a large corporate enterprise with an in-depth experience in various areas of Human Resources.
2. Thorough understanding and experience in:
1) compensation and benefits,
2) performance management,
3) learning and development
4) talent management
5) organisation design and development
6) international best practices in Human Resources.
7) In-depth knowledge of key trends in Human Resource Management including knowledge of technology solutions for innovative HR practices.
3. Ability to handle and manage confidential information.
4. Exceptional strategic thinking, operational excellence, leading change, problem solving, communication, conflict management and resolution and interpersonal skills with high resilience and drive in achieving objectives and goals.
5. Relevant experience in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of teamwork and collaboration.
6. Ability to handle and manage confidential information.
7. Exceptional strategic thinking, operational excellence, leading change, problem solving, communication, conflict management and resolution and interpersonal skills with high resilience and drive in achieving objectives and goals.
8. Relevant experience in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of team work and collaboration.
9. Master’s Degree or equivalent in the relevant field from a reputed university. Relevant certification/s from globally recognized certification agencies in the related field would be preferred.
