PURPOSE OF THE JOB Reporting to the Director General, Human Resources, this position will be responsible to execute the HR vision and strategy for the Bank and will work on talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, leadership, learning and development, performance management, succession planning for key positions, employee relations, diversity and overall HR operations to facilitate realization of Bank’s growth aspirations in-line with organizational goals.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: 1. Contribute to the development and improvement of HR policies and HR practices at the Bank by applying expert inputs and improvement ideas, in line with the HR vision and strategy. 2. Manage HR processes like workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, talent management, performance management, leadership development, learning and development etc. in line with the HR policies. 3. Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management, business units and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. 4. Liaise with all Director Generals and Chiefs to disseminate communication on the Bank’s HR strategies, policies and programs across the Bank. 5. Implement the HR processes as per the specified HR budget of the Bank in a cost effective and efficient manner and identify areas of cost optimizations including use of technology, outsourcing etc. 6. Implement HR initiatives within the Bank with the objective to improve employee engagement and make the Bank as an Employer of Choice. 7. Keep abreast on the latest HR developments in the multilateral development institutions, financial institutions and the private sector and continuously improve HR practices at the Bank. Maintain relations with global HR professional associations. 8. Nurture talent and coach the team to ensure continuous learning and development of the team. 9. Other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1. Minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience in the human resources area, in a multilateral development bank or equivalent or regulated private sector financial institution or government agent or a large corporate enterprise. 2. Proven track record of planning, developing and implementing new and revised compensation and benefit programs, policies and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices. 3. Proven experience in managing and leading all areas in the human resources function. 4. In-depth knowledge of key trends in Human Resource Management including knowledge of technology solutions for innovative HR practices. 5. Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management, Director Generals and Chiefs, and deliver the value-added HR service as well as advisory. 6. Exceptional strategic thinking, leading change, problem solving, communication, conflict management and resolution and interpersonal skills with high resilience and drive in achieving objectives and goals. 7. Relevant experience in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of team work and collaboration. 8. Strong leadership and managerial skills in managing a diverse workforce. 9.
