JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client in the Hospitality industry seeks to employ a store officer whose primary role would be to account for the outlets’ materials, products and equipment using the most efficient means.
ROLES OF A STORE OFFICER Include;
1. Develop Store procedure and processes for the restaurant’s operations.
2. Assist in ensuring that products/materials or equipment purchased directly and those supplied by vendors meet industry standards.
3. Initiate and follow up on all Materials Request for timely delivery.
4. Prepare and maintain accurate records of all materials stocked in the store for easy location and retrieval.
5. Assign stock labels and reference numbers to new items being stocked.
6. Assist in the inspection of materials, its specifications, conditions quality and quantity.
7. Engage in stock taking exercise at intervals to discover obsolete, damage and good stock and to advice management for corrective actions to be taken.
8. Post all Goods Received note and vouchers into the software.
9. Monitor stock levels to ensure there is no stock out.
10. Ensure FIFO (first-in-first out) is being maintained when issuing materials to the end users.
11. Implementing stock inflow to ensure proper utilization of space and position of stock, for easy retrieval and adherence to storage condition for various stock items.

| REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
1. Minimum of BSC or OND
2. Minimum of Two years’ experience occupying same role.
3. Excellent communication skills
4. Basic understanding of inventory and cost control practices and familiarity with Fidelio MMS, Crunch-time, or similar systems.
5. Flexible schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
6. Must be energetic, able to carry heavy objects.
