PURPOSE OF THE ROLE 1. Reporting to the Executive: Company Secretary, the focus of this role is to take responsibility for all the company secretarial work for the subsidiary companies of the Land Bank Group and to assist with company secretarial work for the Land Bank Group. 2. The role primarily encompasses the day-to-day administration of Land Bank subsidiaries, and with assisting the Executive: Company Secretary with company secretarial work related to the Group.
JOB SUMMARY 1. To provide environmental due diligence expertise to the Land Bank Operational Divisions of the Bank to enhance sustainable agricultural investments and support the due diligence process for both frontline business as well as PMS. 2. To coordinate assessments, monitoring and management of environmental and social risks associated with Land Bank’s investments.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 1. A B.Sc in Environmental Sciences, post graduate qualification in Environmental Management or equivalent. 2. 3-5 years experience in the development and implementation of Environmental and Social Management systems. 3. 3-5 years experience in the assessment of company compliance with the WBG performance standards and EHS guidelines 4. 3-5 years knowledge of the principles of environmental and social sustainability and agriculture. 5. 3 years exposure in terms of Agricultural related environmental projects would be an advantageous as well as the relevant legislative requirements
