TÄTIGKEITSBEREICH
GIZ Libya Programme is searching for a junior architect who would be interested in taking over several tasks both in the field of implementation and management.For the implementation, the candidate will have to follow a project on the creation of public spaces in Libya, supporting the partner municipalities in the processes of identification, planning and realisation of public spaces.For the management, the candidate will need to support the international team for national and international procurements and service contracts, preparing the Terms of References, monitoring the processes, following up the delivery and installation of the items / development of the contracts.In addition, we expect the candidate to be familiar with monitoring processes, supporting the team in collecting and filing information and data for the reporting procedures.
IHRE AUFGABEN
1. Supporting the project for the coordination with the partner municipalities for the creation of friendly and inclusive public spaces
2. Planning, coordination and independent implementation of a documentation about the process through drawings and diagrams (from the first idea to the project implementation)
3. Supporting the project management in the preparation of documents for national and international procurements and service contracts
4. Preparation of surveys of relevant data for monitoring and evaluation as well as knowledge management, structured archiving and documentation in the project context

| REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
IHR PROFIL
1. Study in at least 3rd semester in Architecture or Engineering
2. Great skills in graphic visualisation, vector drawing and 3D model making
3. Knowledge of software for making videos or animations to illustrate projects in planning and execution
4. Structured, networked thinking and acting, organisational talent as well as flexible, independent and persistent working towards goals
5. Fluent in English, Basic knowledge of Arabic is requested.

Please be informed that you are only allowed to apply for this internship, if you are currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship.
We pay a monthly stipend of €1.689,- (gross). Depending on the country of assignment a monthly expatriation allowance (gross), predetermined by GIZ will be paid on top.
