OUR CLIENT
Our client, a global marketing and corporate communications company, seeks to employ a brand director.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead client relationship management, strategy and creative execution for an assigned business area with an existing Client Account.
2. Spearhead the responsibility of the creation and development of a business plan. This includes finding out the best marketing strategies, providing analysis and recommendations for the lifecycle of the product.
3. Manage any promotional materials that will be used for the specific brand that they are handling.
4. Work with both the new business and strategy team to generate sales as well as distribution. Furthermore, updates regarding the market and re evaluation of programs can be discussed to maintain a healthy brand name.
5. Uses several data to identify opportunities to drive improvement in the overall product and service. This includes obtaining sales impact and competition pricing to make the necessary adjustments.
6. Provides coaching and feedback to subordinates to maintain standards set by the business organization which could lead to a more motivated staff that could assist in the improvement of the overall brand image.
7. Maintain frequent communication with internal teams and an external client group, setting priorities and leading overall management of workload.
8. Oversee the development of advertising, merchandising and product launches within a Big Picture business environment, with an eye on continuously improving on delivering a quality, branded experience.
9. Educate and guide target consumers through the shopping process.
10. Conduct research to identify market trends and target customers’ preferences
11. Create marketing plans to increase brand awareness
12. Ensure brand presence in online and offline channels
13. Review packaging and positioning of products and suggest improvements
14. Research competition and identify opportunities for growth
15. Design advertising campaigns for new products/services
16. Report to the Managing Director on the results of advertising campaigns
17. Coordinate with the team to ensure consistency with the product line strategy.
18. Assist in developing effective media campaigns and choosing appropriate distribution channels.
19. Update the pricing of products to align with the company’s long-term objectives
20. Participate in organizing promotional events to present the company positively
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
1. First degree with 7-10 years of experience including 5 years of account/partnership management or business development experience.
2. Solid history of relationship growth successes.
3. Excellent communication skills and ability to carefully manage expectations across constituencies.
4. A love of meeting - and beating – deadlines.
5. Experience trafficking campaigns.
6. High attention to detail, highly organized and efficient.
7. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks without supervision.
8. Strong teamwork and cross-functional coordination is a key for success.
9. Excellence analytically with technical, contractual and financial issues.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast paced, constantly evolving team environment.
11. Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office, online advertising and associated tools
