PURPOSE OF ROLE
1. The position will primarily be responsible to be part of the Treasury back-office operations, settlements and banking operations.
2. This role is placed with the Finance, Budget and Accounting Department and will report to Chief, Loan and Treasury Back Office.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
1. Performing the settlement of funds through SWIFT, E-banking. Monitoring the fund inflows and outflows based on the transaction undertaken by the Bank. Prevent operational errors and settle transactions only after proper due diligence.
2. Processing/ Authorization/ settlement of Treasury transactions on a day-to-day basis within prescribed timelines. Ensure comprehensive compliance with all internal requirements as relevant for various product and services.
3. Ensure adequate documentation, due diligence procedures relating to corresponding banks and transactions thereof.
4. Other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in a multilateral development bank or equivalent, or a regulated private/public sector financial institution in handling treasury back-office Operation including but not limited to deal authorization, deal confirmation, fund and security settlement, account reconciliation, and accounting of treasury portfolio.
2. Knowledge of global capital market, financial service sector, infrastructure sector, financial accounting principles, financial reporting standards and their applications within the different member countries is desirable.
3. Facilitate timely and accurate fund and security settlements generated from multiple transaction system in the Bank like Treasury Management System, Loan management system and Vendor payment system.
4. Extensive knowledge of handling the SWIFT messaging system, implementation, and enhancement from time to time.
5. Perform as the back-office authoriser for treasury transaction, set up counterparties, Standard Settlement Instructions.
6. Support the bank account and security account reconciliation. Identify the gaps and suggest corrective action to match the unreconciled entries
7. Take active part in process improvement projects and handle ad hoc assignments. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures
8. Experience of dealing with external stakeholders (Regulators, Auditors, Borrowers, Government Officials) is desirable.
9. Exceptional problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills with high resilience and drive in achieving objectives and goals.
10. Ability to plan and coordinate schedules in order to meet deadlines.
11. Analytical and systematic with strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
12. Relevant experience in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of teamwork and collaboration.
13. Master’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant professional field from a reputed university or a professional qualified accountant (e.g. CA/CPA, ACCA, etc.). Relevant certification/s from globally recognized certification agencies in the related field would be preferred.
