ABOUT I&M Bank Uganda is a commercial bank headquartered at Kampala Road plot 6/6A with a growing regional presence. The Bank offers a wide range of commercial banking and financial products and services, and prides itself on introducing innovative products and services based on the needs of its customers. We are seeking to recruit a competent and highly motivated individual with extensive experience and abilities to support business growth in the following position: JOB SUMMARY To market the Bank’s products and manage customer relationships through pro-active and consultative approaches with the aim of acquiring profitable new Banking liability business through the creation, development and maintenance of high quality customer advisory relationships and customer loyalty programmes towards the realization of the bank’s mission and vision KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Identify, generate, convert, and monitor business leads and opportunities into highly profitable clients. 2. Provide tailored advice to customers and produce clear account plans linked to the customer strategy. 3. Maintain and build a portfolio of customers with an acceptable risk to reward ratio, and work within the confines of the risk management framework. 4. Drive and deliver exceptional sales performance by identifying and meeting customer needs through selling and cross selling of SME Products & services. 5. Participate in the preparation of annual marketing plans and strategies for financial products generation to enable achievement of targeted growth objectives. 6. Establish and maintain effective relationships with new and existing customers, establishing their needs and attending on the suitability of services. 7. Provide feedback on effectiveness /review of current customer processes. 8. Ensure that the Bank`s/Regulatory authority, policies and guidelines are complied with at all times. 9. In co-ordination with the Head SME, implement and track customer financial plan. 10. Contribute to the effective launching of new products to ensure favourable market response and optimum build-up of revenue. 11. Build positive working relationships and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure seamless customer service. 12. Ensure Effective and timely customer service delivery.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: A University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Management. Work Experience: A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in Retail banking. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES): 1. Excellent customer service orientation 2. High level of integrity 3. Excellent communication skills 4. Strong sales/cross-selling skills 5.
