JOB PURPOSE Maintain a lending portfolio quality of the Bank through: 1. Sanctioning of quality deals in respect of credit policy, internal credit procedures, prudential guidelines, and I&M credit underwriting standards. 2. Portfolio management through monitoring of risk assets, covenants, and early alert accounts. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Processing, sanctioning & recommending quality deals and maintain a quality portfolio. 2. Ensuring that the standard turnaround time on credit applications is observed. 3. Ensure Risk Management principles and practices are complied to in the credit function. 4. Ensure full adherence to Credit Policy and procedures, BNR prudential guidelines and other external regulation. 5. Assist in carrying out updates/reviews of credit policy, product profiles and credit procedures on need basis. 6. Regular review of the sanctioned facilities, proper utilization of the facilities to establish compliance with covenants and mirror the asset quality. 7. Review and track early warning signals (EWS) on specific credits and escalate same for appropriate actions.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Required 1. Bachelor’s degree in either Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent 2. Should have relevant training/ certifications in Credit Analysis 3. A minimum of at least 5 years’ experience in Credit Analysis 4. Must be highly analytical and have strategic credit risk perspective. 5. Should have excellent communication, interpersonal and people management skills. 6. Excellent report writing skills and conversant with Account Relationship Management
