Location Nairobi, Nairobi Department Personal Banking Employment Type Full-Time Minimum Experience Senior Manager/Supervisor
PURPOSE OF ROLE 1. The role holder will be responsible for execution of the distribution strategy covering branches and agency network and overall performance of the network covering the sales and service strategy to ensure delivery of the annual objectives. 2. This role will also ensure the branch networks deliver annual profit and loss statement, balance sheet growth and cost objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Oversee and Expand the Branch and Agency network in line with the distribution strategy and drive business performance across branches and agency network. 2. Manage existing agency relationships to ensure that they are delivering the expected value to the Bank and identify new agency opportunities. 3. Unlock ecosystem business opportunities to enable scale acquisition of customers to support business growth across branches. 4. Implement productivity improvement initiatives across branch sales and service teams supported by robust performance management plans in collaboration with Head – Kenya operations. 5. Review and approve branch micro marketing plans and provide continuous feedback into product, credit and marketing teams to ensure an improving sales and service process. 6. Ensure achievement of monthly branch budgets. 7. Ensure the embedment of Bank’s service charter and standards across Branches. 8. Drive the Branch Net Promoter Score by implementing the service initiatives and campaigns across branches. 9. Provide effective leadership to Regional and Branch Managers to ensure delivery of annual branch network financial, service, people and control objectives. 10. Collaborate with operations to ensure optimal use of the Branch Operations resources and achievement of annual Branch network cost and control objectives. 11. Manage Branch and Agency resources monthly performance with clear cascade of monthly/annual performance goals. 12. Build and develop a high performing team, through embedding performance management and coaching across branches. 13. Ensure Branch teams are well equipped to manage risks associated with driving sales and service and transaction processing at branch in collaboration with Head – Kenya Operations.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS 1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field. 2. At least 7 years' experience with 4 years in Branch Management 3. Leadership and management skills 4. Sales and marketing skills 5. Demonstrates good understanding of CBK guidelines 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
