PURPOSE OF ROLE 1. Reporting to Chief of Partnerships or any other Manager as assigned by the Bank, the incumbent is responsible for building bilateral partnerships with external stakeholders, including academia, financial institutions in member countries, development agencies, non-governmental organizations, think tanks, philanthropic institutions, donor-based funds and private sector entities. 2. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting different Departments and Divisions of the Bank in their partnerships activities.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: 1. Match NDB’s and partners’ competencies and capabilities for synergistic collaboration and define partnership priorities and action plan across selected partners; 2. Develop and maintain partnerships with private players, public development agencies, sovereign wealth funds and other relevant ecosystem institutions for supporting sustainable infrastructure and development; 3. Collaborate in efforts for mobilizing funds from potential public and private entities, including technical and financial resources, for supporting the investment operations of the Bank. 4. Explore and propose innovative mechanisms for strengthening partnerships with suitable private or public players. 5. Coordinate the preparation of joint events and other initiatives with partners; 6. Oversee the reporting on Partnerships activities. 7. Help the Bank in the development of a culture of innovation and change, including the incubation of new financial/non-financial products and business lines. 8. Other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
1. Minimum of 9 years of relevant professional experience in a multilateral development bank or institution, governmental organization, public sector, academic/ research institution, or private sector company, including leading global consulting firms or policy think tanks. 2. Experience in Establish and maintain bilateral and multilateral relationships with partners. 3. Knowledge and experience in data collection, analysis and interpretation, building indicators, reporting and providing support for data driven decision-making. 4. Familiarity with operations, policies and processes of international financial institutions is a plus. 5. Problem solving, communication, conflict management, and interpersonal skills with high resilience and drive in achieving objectives and goals. 6. Relevant experience in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of teamwork and collaboration. 7. Master’s Degree or equivalent in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or a relevant professional field from a reputed university.
