MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial / Shareholder Returns
1. Ensure financial soundness of all credit submissions.
2. Transactions aligned to the R-CTFL Master plan 2030

Internal / Operational Processes
1. Evaluate applications for funding
2. Designing and negotiating the financial and legal relationship between the client and IDC for the specific deal.
3. Risk identification and mitigation
4. Deal optimization - ensuring that the deal is aligned with the strategic objectives of the Department and will contribute to meeting industry development goals
5. Support the development and implementation of strategies or action plans to drive the Department’s strategic objectives.
6. Account management function up to first draw
7. Prepare well written and motivated reports for presentation to the relevant Panel and other Panel as required.
8. Conduct peer reviews on all peer submissions.
9. Training, mentoring and coaching of Account Managers

Customer Focus & Stakeholder Management
1. To effectively interact with internal IDC departments SBUs and departments in order to fulfil the process requirements related to any specific deal / transaction.
2. Manage and enhance the levels of service and communication to ensure the provision of client service excellence.

Learning, Leadership & People Growth
1. Provide team leadership in transactions during due diligence
2. Manage own development to enhance own competencies
3. Participate in knowledge sharing in the team and cross functional
4. Coaching and mentoring of team members
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum qualification: relevant commercial or technical honours degree

Knowledge & Experience
1. 5-7 years related experience of which 4 years should be in deal assessment as well as closing of transactions
2. Knowledge of the civil society sector
3. Knowledge in assessing all associated issues in a transaction (Legal, risks, etc.)
4. Experience in interpretation and analysis of financial statements
5. Competent in coaching and mentoring team members.
