The Complaints-resolution, Evaluation and Integrity Unit (CEIU) was established in 2016 as an independent unit within AIIB and is part of AIIB’s Oversight Mechanism created by its Board of Directors under Article 26(iv) of the AIIB Articles of Agreement. CEIU has three functions: handling of complaints related to environmental and social issues; learning and evaluation; and anti-fraud and corruption.
ROLE OVERVIEW 1. CEIU is looking for an Analyst to provide research and analytical support to the Managing Director (MD) and CEIU’s professional staff. 2. The successful candidate is expected to work across all three functions and the Managing Director’s front office.
ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Under the overall supervision of the Managing Director, in coordination with the head of the relevant CEIU function, the Analyst is expected to: 1. Assist in specialized activities for each functional unit, e.g. document review, data analysis, due diligence on parties, complaints intake and assessment, case investigation, etc. 2. Undertake research on a wide variety of topics including reviewing literature, online and offline information sources and databases, and project documentation. 3. Coordinate across all three functional areas, consolidate inputs on a wide variety of documents, and assist in drafting reports, notes, updates, and presentations. 4. Manage the unit’s document filing system, internal and external web pages, social media accounts, and databases. 5. Support internal and external awareness-raising activities. 6. Support other CEIU activities, as required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS 1. Bachelor’s degree in economics, social sciences, public policy, law, statistics, or related fields from a reputable university. 2. At least 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience, with at least 1 year experience in one of the three CEIU functions. Experience in other international financial institutions is an advantage. 3. Demonstrated ability to independently prepare reports and documents with minimum supervision. 4. Advanced knowledge and experience working with data analysis software (Power BI, Tableau, Python), Cloud systems, Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), and other relevant office software. 5. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including the ability to prepare, present, and defend facts, findings, issues, lessons learned, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. 6. Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills and a responsive, problem-solving orientation. 7. Outstanding interpersonal skills and a proven track record of being a team player, innovative coordinator, and helpful colleague. 8. Experience in exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive corporate information. 9. Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and balance multiple priorities. 10. Interest in the work of CEIU, willingness to work across three unique and independent functions. 11. Proficiency in another language used by AIIB Members is an advantage.
