JOB SUMMARY 1. The Investment and Valuation Specialist supports TDB Group and its fund management company in executing, monitoring and valuing equity and debt investments. 2. Drawing on a robust financial background in financial analysis and valuation, the Investment and Valuation Specialist will deliver critical insights that guide investment decisions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: 1. Conducting expert analysis on potential investments and prepare well-articulated investment papers. 2. Validating and challenging financial models using advanced valuation techniques to critically assess investments and prospective investments. 3. Supporting in the negotiation, documentation and structuring of investments to optimize financial outcomes while mitigating risks. 4. Working closely with colleagues across various departments of the Group on matters of investments and valuations, to ensure cohesive investment execution and accurate investment performance reporting. 5. Contribute to the development and execution of the investment strategy recommendations based on market trends, competitor analysis, and internal performance metrics.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES 1. A Master's degree or equivalent in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics from a recognized institution. 2. A relevant professional certification or license from internationally accredited bodies such as CFA would be an added advantage. 3. A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience as an investment or corporate finance specialist in a busy global corporate banking, consulting or DFI environment. 4. Deep understanding of the private equity and debt valuations. 5. Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills including financial modelling and the ability to analyze financial statements. 6. Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve measurable results. 7. Must be detailed oriented but flexible to work in a fast-paced environment. 8. A team player with good communication skills.
