RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. The Manager – Digital Innovation and Product Management is responsible for leading the creation, introduction, and enhancement of innovative digital products and solutions for the Bank’s clients.
2. This role plays a critical part in driving the evolution of the Bank’s services by leveraging the latest advancements in technology, data analytics, and user experience design.
3. The Manager will implement agile methodologies, manage product squads, and ensure that the Bank’s innovation efforts align with its strategic goals and deliver measurable value to clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the Bank’s digital innovation efforts, driving the development of cutting-edge products that meet the evolving needs of clients across Africa.
4. Innovation Strategy & Roadmap:
1) Drive the implementation of the Bank’s Digital Innovation Strategy and roadmap in collaboration with relevant business departments.
2) Utilise agile methodologies to manage product squads, ensuring the efficient delivery of digital products and services.
3) Continuously monitor technology trends and market developments to inform the innovation strategy and product development efforts.
5. Product Development & Management:
1) Work with product teams in origination to identify, validate, and develop new digital products and service solutions for the Bank’s clients.
2) Create, evaluate, and analyze proposals for new business ideas, new lines of business, and digital products.
3) Project manage the development and enhancements of digital products and services, adhering to the Bank’s innovation and product process guidelines.
6. User and Customer Journey Experience:
1) Lead the design and optimization of user and customer journeys, ensuring seamless experiences across all digital touchpoints.
2) Collaborate with design teams to integrate user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) best practices into product development.
3) Utilize customer feedback and data-driven insights to refine and improve product offerings continuously.
7. Market Research & Analysis:
1) Conduct detailed market research and analysis to understand the evolving landscape of digital financial services and innovation.
2) Leverage data analytics to assess the performance of digital products and guide strategic decision-making.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
1) Manage cross-functional programs and projects of varied sizes, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s strategic goals.
2) Encourage a culture of innovation, identifying and promoting new ideas, approaches, and methodologies.
3) Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, enhancing their skills in product development and innovation.
4) Assist to manage and evaluate the innovation pipeline, assisting in strategic decision-making and Go-to-Market processes.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL
1. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or other related degrees.
2. At least 8 years of experience in strategy, business planning, product development, or innovation within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on digital products.
3. Proven experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and managing agile product squads.
4. Expertise in user experience design, customer journey mapping, and the implementation of digital best practices.
5. IT experience and understanding of web programming concepts and languages.
6. Experience with agile methodologies
7. Strong presentation skills and the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences, including Senior Management.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of the Bank’s other working languages (French, Arabic, Portuguese) is an added advantage.
9. Ability to function effectively in a culturally diverse and rapidly changing environment, with a solid understanding of business practices in Africa.
10. Familiarity with domains such as data science, quantitative reasoning, software development, innovation, and strategic planning.
11. Proactive, innovative, and capable of driving change within a complex organizational structure.
12. Strong leadership qualities with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

2. Willing and able to relocate to Egypt for the opportunity
