JOB SUMMARY 1. Reporting to the Group Executive, Corporate Services and Administration, the TDF Operations Assistant supports TDF operational activities. 2. The role provides administrative, financial analysis and technical support to TDF operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The TDF Operations Assistant performs the following duties: 1. Support TDF operations to ensure full compliance with TDB/TDF operational guidelines, regulations, policies, and strategies. 2. Assist in coordinating and managing Technical Assistance and Grant initiatives. 3. Provide strategic input to the Executive Directors and team members, regarding guidelines, business processes and the implementation of internal standard operating procedures (SOPs). 4. Contribute to the formulation of results-oriented workplans for the operations team to support implementation framework. 5. Support procurement processes for TDB/TDF programs and Technical Assistance by: 1) Drafting TORs/RFPs and evaluating bids and proposals. 2) Implementing internal controls to ensure proper documentation and dispatch. 3) Tracking budget utilization and contributing to Board and funder reports. 6. Develop and publish calls for proposals, outlining required documentation and submission guidelines 7. Conduct timely review of documentations, track funder's requirement, manage database on digital platform, collaborate internally to produce timely reports and updates, ensuring accurate record-keeping for audit purposes. 8. Collaborate with TDF Technical and Financial focal points/committees to assess submitted projects against established evaluation criteria. 9. Regularly track application status and evaluate the proposal pipeline in accordance with TDF Operations and program workflows. 10. Participate in training programs for operations and project staff on administrative procedures.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES 1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Banking or any other related field from a recognized institution with relevant professional qualification as added advantage. 2. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience and proven track record in a Commercial/Development Banking or Financial institution environment. 3. Strong analytical and operational skills with excellent understanding of financial products and services. 4. Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. 5. Results oriented individual with excellent written and communication skills with proven ability to rapidly produce quality reports. 6. Proven organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to build partnerships, work in multicultural environment, deliver results and manage client relationships. 7. Proficiency in information technology and management systems. 8. Fluency in English is a requirement. Bilingual proficiency in French and English would be an added advantage.
