DESCRIPTION: 1. Lead the responsibility for PAPSS strategy and innovation and in addition follow up on the implementation of all projects. The projects that will be initiated both internally within PAPSS and/or within Afreximbank and those started and initiated with external partners. 2. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the manager strategy and Project management will be responsible for driving, designing the strategy and innovation within PAPSS, and monitor with finesse the projects that are implemented by other units within PAPSS. 3. The role will be instrumental to the development of the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System as it will support the long-term organizational strategy and fast track the implementation of any single project within the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Supporting the development of long-term organizational strategy. 2. Conducting research and analyses of operational effectiveness, processes, stakeholders, etc. 3. Aligning PAPSS goals, processes, and resource allocation with the general Afreximbank organizational strategy. 4. Assessing market trends and competitors and identifying threats and opportunities. 5. Presenting findings, projections, and recommended actions. 6. Planning, implementing, and managing proposed recommendations and projects. 7. Monitoring and reporting on projects. 8. Supporting and guiding senior executive decision-making processes. 9. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. 10. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. 11. Developing and tracking detailed project plans. 12. Support the CEO to track execution of strategy plan and initiatives. 13. Support CEO in management of the overall performance of the business. 14. Report and escalate to management as needed. 15. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL 1. A Bachelor’s & Master’s degree in a related field and/or business mandatory 2. 8 years of experience at the minimum in an institution that delivers innovative solutions, management consulting or strategic planning. 3. Excellent understanding of business operations and procedures. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Strong organizational and planning skills. 6. Outstanding research and analytical abilities. 7. Project management skills. 8. Strong leadership skills. 9. Excellent communication in English mandatory and knowledge of French is an added advantage.
