DETAILED JOB PROFILE
Job Purpose
1. The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is responsible for leading and managing the bank's information technology (IT) function.
2. The CIO will ensure that the bank's IT systems and infrastructure are aligned with its strategic objectives and support its operations efficiently and effectively.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and implement the bank's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy.
2. Oversee the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the bank's IT systems and infrastructure.
3. Manage the IT budget and resources effectively.
4. Ensure the security and integrity of the bank's IT systems and data.
5. Lead and manage the IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
6. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department.
7. Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT-related business needs.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Master's degree in a related field preferred.
3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the financial services industry.
4. Proven track record of leading and managing IT teams.
5. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
6. Excellent project management skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
