DEPARTMENT/UNIT: Enterprise Risk Management JOB GRADE: REPORTS TO: MD & The Board JOB TYPE: Permanent SUPERVISES: Enterprise Risk Mgt Team DETAILED JOB PROFILE Job Purpose 1. The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that could impact client's financial performance, reputation, and operational efficiency. 2. The CRO will develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to ensure the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and protect its assets.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework, including policies, procedures, and guidelines. 2. Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across the bank's operations. 3. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address identified risks. 4. Monitor and report on risk exposures and trends to senior management. 5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. 6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 7. Oversee the implementation of risk management systems and tools. 8. Foster a risk-aware culture within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field. 2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the financial services industry. 3. Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies. 4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 6. Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

Interacts with: Internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors, and rating agencies.
