JOB PURPOSE
Provide financial analysis, forecasting, reporting of the Institute’s activities as well as new Business Opportunities. Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the Institute. Contribute to the Periodical financial reports of the Institute.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Finance and Business Management:
1. Carry out timely and accurate reconciliations of the financial transactions, identifying conflicts and resolve them.
2. Contribute to improving the business processes and proposing effective internal controls.
3. Support in proceeding the Institute payments to the vendors, suppliers, consultants and service providers and maintain accurate accounts of the same.
4. Coordinate with all partners, donors and sponsors to maintain accurate records of contributions and report periodically.
5. Contribute in monitoring activities progress by tracking these activities; resolving problems; producing progress reports; recommending actions.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:
1. Prepare the regular financial and business reports for the review of the Management.
2. Prepare and submit periodic Financial Reports, on the status of revenues generated, funds raised, earnings realized, and expenses incurred.
3. Provide financial analysis, forecasting, reporting of the Institute’s activities as well as new Business Opportunities.
4. Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the Institute.
5. Develop financial models that help with decision-making.
6. Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.

Policies & Procedures:
1. Contribute to the development and enhancement Reporting procedures and incorporate the changes in the business processes and internal controls.
2. Comply with the Institute rules and regulations from financial perspective.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field is required.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance, Accounting or related field.
