GIZ International Services is shortlisted for the EU-project "Technical Assistance for the implementation of EU-Angola Dialogue Facility ".

The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is to promote sustainable development in the areas covered by the JWF agreement between the EU and the Angolan Government. Its specific objective is to enhance the effectiveness of EU-Angola dialogues in the priority areas identified within the JWF.

The purpose of this contract is to provide technical assistance, in the form of an Implementation Support Team (IST) to support the implementation of the EU-Angola Dialogue Facility, including the management of funds for policy dialogues in areas covered by the JWF agreement and information and communication activities.

YOUR TASKS
The policy dialogue and capacity-building expert will support and report to the Team Leader. He/she will in particular be responsible for:
1. the sound management of the funds allocation mechanism under the EU-Angola Dialogue Facility;
2. providing training to applicants;
3. developing measures enhancing capacity-building for dialogue of applicants where required;
4. procuring and managing services to implement policy dialogue projects;
5. supporting the implementation of policy dialogue projects.
