MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Identification and assessment of Participating Financial Institutions (PFIs) that are interested to work with the Bank.
2. Build and maintain relationship with PFIs interested to work with the Bank.
3. Collect the required PFIs’ data and information to enable the analysis of the PFI’s proposal submitted to the bank.
4. Present the appraisal reports to the project manager for review and submission to the relevant organs as per the project implementation manual.
5. Prepare grant notification letters to the approved PFIs, and rejection letters for rejected PFIs on timely basis.
6. Prepare periodic reports related to PFIs appraised as per the project implementation Manual.
7. Provide advice and guidance to the PFIs on their proposals.
8. Ensure teamwork, enhance communication and timely exchange of information.
9. Carefully analyze data and produce clear and objective reports.
10. Participate on the elaboration of the project budget.
11. Adhere to project guidelines.
12. Regularly monitor grants for compliance.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
PROFESSIONAL, ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
1. A degree in finance, management, accounting, economics or related discipline is required
2. Part or full relevant qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc) is an added advantage;

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
1. Minimum of 4 years of work experience in project finance, investment and grant or credit analysis;
2. Up to date with legal, compliance and market risk related issues according to the PIM ;
3. Strong financial, grant, credit and monitoring skills;
4. A thorough understanding of the entire lending process ;
5. Good understanding and appreciation of appropriate health, safety, social, dam safety and environmental practices and standards in project implementation;
6. Business development and client relationship skills;
7. Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly across all lines of business
8. Relevant computer skills.
