GIZ International Services is an integrated department of the entire GIZ. International Services offers its know-how and its services on a commercial basis. We mainly work on behalf of international clients, i.e. governments of partner countries and international institutions or private companies.

GIZ International Services is currently positioning itself for a call for tenders financed by the European Union and entitled: Technical assistance to the European Union Support Program for the implementation of the Government Plan for Equality (PGE II).

The general objective of the EMP II is the achievement of the EU support program aimed at contributing to improving the conditions for promoting equality and equity between women and men in Morocco.

The specific objectives of this contract are as follows:

Provide ongoing technical assistance to MSDSEF and other beneficiaries to
1) support it in monitoring the implementation of the Government Plan for Equality II (PGE II) - ICRAM II - and its possible successor - and more particularly of the MOUSSAWAT EU support program the PGE II and the promotion of equality,
2) contribute to strengthening the institutional capacities of the various partner ministerial departments and institutions of the MOUSSAWAT EU support program for EMP II - ICRAM II - and its possible successor - and the promotion of equality;
3) promote the development of knowledge on the themes related to the EMP II / ICRAM II - and its possible successor and the promotion of equality.
4) Make experts available for medium and short-term interventions, on the one hand to provide ad hoc expertise or technical support to support the implementation of certain activities of the EU support program, and to provide on the other hand to carry out studies, surveys, evaluations, training services, etc. in line with the objectives of the support program.
5) Contribute to communication around EU support in terms of promoting equality (on various programs), among other things through support for the implementation of the communication plan relating to the support program.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

YOUR PROFILE
Qualifications and skills
1) Minimum requirement: a higher education diploma at minimum BAC + 5 level in legal sciences, social sciences, human sciences or economics or an equivalent professional qualification of 12 years
2) Minimum requirement: a very good command of the spoken and written French language.
3) Asset: a diploma qualifying gender expertise.

General professional experience
Minimum requirement: At least 12 years of general professional experience in social fields, including gender-based human rights

Specific professional experience
1) Minimum requirement: at least 5 years of professional experience in development cooperation projects.
2) Minimum requirement: at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of gender equality or women's rights and / or in social action (quality management of social action organizations and establishments, including those specifically targeting vulnerable groups, including women)
3) Asset: professional experience in southern neighboring countries of the EU
4) Asset: at least 2 years of professional experience in promoting equality and / or combating violence against girls and women internationally.

Intervention period
The date scheduled for the start of the project is set for 11/16/2020, for a period of 39 months from that date. The engagement of the expert is foreseen full time. The duty station will be Rabat.
