JOB DESCRIPTION
The Rwandan-German bilateral Cooperation Programme for the Promotion of Economy and Employment, implemented by GIZ, aims at employment-intensive growth in selected economic sectors, namely wood industry, tourism and hospitality and film industry, with a special focus on digitalisation. Rwanda Development Board (RDB) is a government institution whose mandate is to accelerate Rwanda’s economic development by enabling private sector growth. RDB has been built with global expertise and modelled on international best practice. Currently, RDB’s key services are: Investment Promotion, Export and special economic zone Development, Tourism and Conservation, Skills Development. These Services also include the Rwanda Film Office as well as Strategic Sports Partnership.

YOUR TASKS
1. Assist the partner organisation in establishing a development strategy, cooperation structures, monitoring and evaluation as well as resource management and acquisition
2. Capacitate the staff of the team in performing their roles and responsibilities
3. Assist the partner organisation in developing and managing a market-based portfolio of audio-visual and sports products and events in collaboration with other actors
4. Strengthen the knowledge of the partner organisation in the promotion of its services as well as identifying stakeholders and potential partners
5. Identify of best practices and policies that should be implemented in Rwanda to ensure quality standards
6. Identify of training and capacity building opportunity for the identify sectors
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
YOUR PROFILE
1. Academic background in Media and Communication, Marketing and Brand Development, Film Production and/or Sports Management
2. Several years working experience in business development, communication or stakeholder coordination
3. Proven experience and networks in the film or sports sector
4. Excellent business writing, presentation and verbal communication skills
5. Proven ability to inspire, coach, capacitate individuals, including persons from different background and culture as well as senior manager
6. Working experience on the African continent are of advantage
7. Fluency in English, knowledge of German is an advantage

LOCATION INFORMATION
