JOB DESCRIPTION
The Nutrition Sensitive Agriculture Project is part of the Global Program Food and Nutrition Security, Enhanced Resilience, which is financed within the scope of the One World – No hunger Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development aiming at the reduction of poverty and hunger worldwide. The aim of the project is to improve the nutrition situation of food-insecure people, particularly women of child-bearing age and their infants, in selected districts (Woredas) of Tigray and Amhara Region in Ethiopia.
YOUR TASKS
1. Overseeing of the complete finance and admin processes of the programme
2. Effective coordination and follow up concerning matters related to financial transactions processing and monitoring
3. Assist, that the provided accounting services within the section are done correctly
4. Prepare financial and national technical reports for the Country Office
5. Ensure, that finance and admin teams are regularly updated and trained on GIZ rules and regulations
6. Attend meetings, provide finance related trainings, and update training concept for Woreda finance and focal persons
7. Liaise between the Climate Change Cluster and Skills Cluster
8. Perform other duties and tasks at the request of the supervisor

| REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
YOUR PROFILE
1. University degree in accounting, business management or equivalent
2. Good knowledge of accounting software and standard computer applications
3. Capability of concise and coherent financial reporting along with standard formats
4. High degree of initiative and creativeness
5. Ability to organize and prioritize several tasks at the same time
6. Very good computer and Microsoft Office skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural and international team
8. Fluency in English, good German language skills are an asset
LOCATION INFORMATION
