JOB OVERVIEW Reporting to the Chief, Facilities and Infrastructure, this position will be responsible for visa and protocol activities and implementation of various immunities and privileges of the Bank as per agreements with the member countries and in line with the international and local standards and the Bank’s policies, guidelines and procedures.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: 1. Contribute to the development and implementation of procedural guidelines for strong protocol relationships between the Bank, member countries and its officials. 2. Continuously monitor and improve the Bank’s policies and procedures related to the protocol management in accordance with the best international protocol standards and practices ensuring that the protocol procedures are both followed and regularly 3. Actively participate in the organization of the Annual Meetings, Board meetings, and other official events providing full protocol support including, but not limited to preparing the guests lists with the all required information, seating arrangements, receiving RSVP, etc. 4. Ensure efficient implementation of immunities and privileges of the Bank and persons connected with the Bank as per agreements with the member countries by liaising with the host government, diplomatic missions, and local authorities. 5. Act as a contact point and liaison with foreign governments, their embassies, consulates ensuring timely issuance and delivery of passports, visas, and special identity cards for all persons connected with the Bank. 6. Facilitate implementation of immunities from immigration restrictions and registration formalities for the purpose of immigration control. 7. Assist the staff members in import of personal effects including vehicles as per agreements with the member countries. 8. Facilitate in obtaining the special license plates for Directors, President, Vice Presidents, and Staff of the Bank as per agreements with the member countries. 9. Provide support on various activities of the Administration Division under guidance and as directed by the Director General, Administration or Chief, Facilities and Infrastructure. 10. Other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
POSITION REQUIREMENTS 1. Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in a multilateral development bank or equivalent or regulated private/public sector financial institution or global financial services organization or large corporate enterprise or the Governments of member countries. 2. In-depth knowledge and experience in dealing with various government authorities, embassies/consulates. 3. Problem solving, communication, conflict management, and interpersonal skills with high resilience and drive in achieving objectives and goals. 4. Relevant experience in a multi-cultural work environment fostering a climate of teamwork and collaboration. 5. Master’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant professional field from a reputed university.
