| MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION |
Reporting to: Head Of Risk
JOB SUMMARY
Manage the delivery of the Information Technology risk management framework, and independent IT risk assessment and reporting as per the Bank’s policy and regulatory guidelines.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct information system risk assessments for new and existing systems, applications and programs to ensure compliance with the bank’s security policies, regulatory requirements and adherence to best practices.
2. Perform periodic and surprise security assessments of areas such as operating systems, database management systems, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and web based applications.
3. Identify and evaluate business technology risks and internal control mitigants of risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement and propose risk treatment plans.
4. Monitor and track IT risk events and follow up associated actions plans to closure.
5. Identify and analyse emerging IT risks.

| REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
2. Possesses one or more of the following certifications: Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or other related certification
WORK EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in information systems within governance,
2. IT Risk Management or IT Audit
KEY REQUIRED SKILLS
1. Demonstrates proven success in a role that emphasizes the following: IT Risk Management and Governance.
2. Demonstrates domain knowledge of IT infrastructure, application development / SDLC and / or information security
3. Strong project management skills.
4. Detail oriented and great communication skills
