JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a fintech that provides banking services to small businesses to help them grow and manage their money. The right candidate for this role has a wealth of experience either in the same capacity or had technical leadership at a senior level in a reputable organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide technical insights and recommendations to leadership leading to efficient and timely project delivery.
2. Provide technical leadership to the engineering team, serving as a resource person to all team members.
3. Help leadership define the right technical KPIs and ensure they are achieved.
4. Serve as the DRI the Company’s infrastructure design, deployment and maintenance
5. Ensure the Organization maintains an efficient DevOps culture
6. Lead technical recruitment and ensure the company hires the best and brightest that can get the company to achieve set objectives.
7. Define and iterate the technical stack used by the company
8. Continuously review and refactor the Company’s infrastructure towards cost savings.
9. Ensure secure and compliant service delivery across the entire organization

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB

1. Up to 5 years experience in a technical management role.
2. Has a hands-on personality and is ready to hands dirty in achieve set objectives
3. Extensive experience designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure
4. Extensive experience building scalable infrastructure
5. Experience with Agile and DevOps culture
6. Experience in payments and/or fintech industry.
7. Experience building serverless or Service Oriented architecture
8. Extensive experience building and maintaining scalable Database infrastructure
9. Preferably has experience building with PHP and the Laravel ecosystem
