ABOUT
Our client is a luxury 5-star Restaurant located in Lagos, with years of experience in the hospitality industry in Nigeria. They currently have an opening for Kitchen Assistant(x10) to be based in Lagos.
DESCRIPTION
1. Washing, and restocking dishes, pots and pans.
2. Monitoring chemical and safety protocols.
3. Receiving food purchases.
4. Helping with some food preparation as required.
5. Removing waste and recycling.
6. Ability to adhere to all safe work requirements.
7. Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required.
8. Perform additional job duties, as requested.
9. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
10. Gather and empty trash, recycling.
11. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
12. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to the building.
13. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
14. In house laundering of Aprons and Chef Jackets.
15. General cleaning.

| REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
1. Experience working in a 5-star Restaurant/ Hotel is most necessary.
2. Candidates should have worked in a similar role for about 2-4 years.
3. Candidates are expected to have good hygiene.
4. Candidates should be hospitable and welcoming.
5. Experience with facility cleaning an asset.
6. Highly motivated, organized and reliable.
7. Strong problem-solving skills.
8. Positive, professional, personable and adaptable.
9. Able to work independently and in a team environment.
