Reports To: Head Of Internal Audit
JOB SUMMARY
Delivering and managing the Consultation Review Plans which covers Pro-active and timely approach where reviews are on a continuous and recurrent basis.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Execute the consulting review plans and review of high-level activities/controls as per the defined frequency.
2. Undertake consultancy engagements and ensure policies and procedures are documented, approved, communicated and understood by concerned staff.
3. Review of all draft reports prepared by the consulting reviews team before approval and final reporting.
4. Preparation of quarterly consulting review reports.
5. Work with the Chief Audit Executive for the development of the annual Internal Audit Plan.
6. Develop and periodically review audit tests to ensure relevance in addressing identified risks and achievement of desired objectives.
7. Coordinating surprise cash counts and cash equivalent audits;• Obtaining the status of implementation of corrective actions from functional heads and compiling them for reporting to BAC; and
8. Organizing consulting review reports for inclusion in the BAC files.
9. Perform quality assurance to ensure that all work delivered, including working papers both meet the standards required as well as supporting the findings and conclusions.

| REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
MINIMUM EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
1. Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a Business related field from a recognized institution and;
2. Masters’ degree in Finance, Strategic Management, Accounting, Business or its equivalent from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
3. CPA and CIA professional qualification mandatory
4. ACCA, CISA, CFE professional qualification an added advantage; and
5. Member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 7 years relevant experience in Banking and Audit, 2 of which should be at supervisory level.
