JOB DESCRIPTION Our Client is a Digital Bank, They are looking to hire Business Development Lead to be based in Lagos. This role you will be responsible for driving strategy and a strong partnership pipeline to deliver impactful growth for the business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Identify, structure, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships. 2. Lead sales pitches and presentations to key external decision makers and prospects. 3. Establish and build relationships with clients, industry leaders and key strategic partners. 4. Develop a deep understanding of market trends, strategies, and technologies to identify new partnership opportunities. 5. Collaborate with marketing, product, engineering, and legal teams to identify impactful opportunities partnerships. 6. Participate in product roadmap build out discussions based on client needs with functional lead, product, and engineering teams. 7. Manage relationships and ongoing internal and external processes with payment companies, mobile carriers and negotiate contracts.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
1. 8+ years’ of experience in a B2B sales role, preferably in a high-growth startup. 2. Track record of effectively negotiating and managing partnerships. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; can communicate clearly and effectively. 4. Strategic thinker and data driven analyst, but also a creative problem solver and innovator. 5. Experience in financial services, payments and fintech companies is preferable. 6. Proactive, self-driven and highly motivated.
