ABOUT
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) was created to help foster social and economic development, create wealth, and improve infrastructure connectivity in Asia by investing in sustainable infrastructure and other productive sectors. The Corporate Secretariat (SEC), headed by the Vice President and Corporate Secretary (VPCS), is mandated to manage shareholder relations, and facilitate formal and informal meetings and communication of shareholders, the Board of Governors and the Board of Directors with the Bank’s Management, in line with relevant rules and procedures.

Business Management Officer
1. The Corporate Secretariat seeks a Business Management Officer / Senior Business Management Officer with extensive business management experience to support business planning, communication, and deliverables.
2. The successful candidate will lead the operations of the Office of the VPCS including (1) manage the execution of the department's work program and align departmental objectives with the Corporate Strategy and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); (2) work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver streamlined and efficient business processes; and (3) act as the focal person for VPCS in coordinating and interfacing with both internal departments and external stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Help develop the department's business management plan and identify solutions, including streamlining of work flows and procedures, and facilitating information sharing and decision making among SEC teams and in SEC management.
2. Act as the lead coordinator for VPCS’s strategic engagement activities.
3. Monitor and facilitate the development and execution of SEC’s business plan to ensure the timely delivery of the department's business objectives within timelines and budget.
4. Serve as SEC’s business management focal point for the department's working processes, records management, facilities management, business continuity and other projects.
5. Lead the efforts for the preparation of briefing notes, presentations, data analyses, and other materials as needed.
6. Liaise with other departments to ensure proper stakeholder participation, results tracking and progress monitoring.
7. Work with HR to ensure proper training and development plans are implemented for all staff; coordinate the work of the Corporate Secretariat in organizing training, team-building and internal seminars.
8. Review and provide comments on inter-departmental documents.
9. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB
1. Master’s degree or higher in economics, finance, political science, public administration, international relations, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years (8 years for Senior Officer) of relevant professional experience in international (or other relevant) organizations or in the multilateral governance area.
3. Direct or relevant working experience in business management.
4. Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities required to build working relationships across teams; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate in a clear and succinct style.
5. Self-starting, self-driven and proactive individual with initiative.
6. Demonstrated experience, judgment, and capacity to execute multiple and diverse work programs.
7. Ability to lead multiple teams and promote collaboration.
8. Ability to adapt and play different roles based on business needs to bridge resource/skills gaps and keep several business initiatives moving forward.
9. Excellent English speaking and writing capabilities and professional communication skills.
