OUR CLIENT Our client, a marketing and Communications company seeks to employ an experienced and highly qualified Group Business Director, whose primary responsibilities would be to lead and coordinate of all the operations and business activities, oversee all activities of a major client’s account and coordinate the various agencies involved in the business.
JOB DESCRIPTION The Chosen candidate would be charged with (but not limited to) the following key responsibilities: 1. Managing the client relationship and providing strategic guidance at the highest level for fully integrated communications 2. Developing operational plans to achieve the company and clients’ goals and objectives of while ensuring that the client’s business and marketing objectives are met 3. Ensure that the rights processes, policies, and structures are in place for company, partner agencies and its client to drive effectiveness and efficiency 4. Working closely with the Africa Regional Director of a leading global communication agency to ensure local insights and market priorities are included in centrally developed campaigns; and to ensure global/regional campaigns are effectively implemented in Nigeria 5. Overseeing the company’s financial performance; managing time and resource allocation for all integrated creative agencies working on the business, ensuring accurate and timely billings from all agencies working on the business, and managing client payments and payments to all agencies 6. Building and successfully leading a high-performance team

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS JOB |
1. Degree-qualified in management, social sciences, or a business-related discipline; a relevant post-graduate degree will be an added advantage 2. 6-8 years of proven management experience in roles that demand coordination of multiple business entities 3. Demonstrable success at a senior level in the marketing communications industry and thorough understanding of the market, with specific expertise in servicing the telecommunications industry 4. Extensive client service experience working with both local and regional clients especially in building brand and communications strategy 5. Good understanding of finance and financial controls for a successful business 6. Strong relationship and interpersonal skills to interact with client C-suite and company Board
ADDED ADVANTAGE: 1. Experience in multiple areas of Marketing Communication especially advertising 2. Experience with a technology or telecoms business
